Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- CWOCN or CWCN certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide expert wound care and ostomy care to support optimal patient outcomes
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing interventions based on patient needs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote healing, comfort, and continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on wound care strategies, ostomy management, and treatment plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
- Support best practices and evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment
