Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250-$2,370
- Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
- Setting: Acute care medical unit
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week / 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Location: Rockingham, Virginia (22801) – enjoy scenic Shenandoah Valley views, local parks, mountain scenery, and a relaxed community atmosphere

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent telemetry nursing or acute care nursing experience
- Strong cardiac monitoring, assessment, and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable working night shifts in a hospital-based acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry patients and promptly identify changes in cardiac rhythms or patient condition
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients on a medical unit
- Complete patient assessments, document care accurately, and communicate updates to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols
- Respond to patient needs with professionalism, empathy, and strong clinical judgment
- Support patient safety, care coordination, and a positive unit culture in a collaborative healthcare setting
