Job Details
- Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: San Francisco, CA 94109
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,670 – $2,810
- Start Date: 10/19/2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Shift Schedule: 4 shifts per week, with variable start times and rotating weekends
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Orientation: 40 hours
Job Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Scrub and circulate experience required
- Experience with cardiac surgery cases required
- Experience with hepatobiliary, robotic surgery, spine, and ophthalmology procedures preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Strong charting system and electronic medical record documentation experience required
- Ability to work in a collaborative, high-acuity surgical environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Operating Room
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and support individualized perioperative care planning
- Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures
- Support complex cases across cardiac, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic spine, neurosurgery, ENT, oral, pediatric, and robotic services
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient surgical care
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold surgical safety standards
- Contribute to a positive patient experience through clear communication and professional, compassionate care
