Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – OBGYN Nursing Assignment in Globe, Arizona
Join a dedicated Labor and Delivery nursing team as a Registered Nurse (RN) on a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Globe, Arizona. This on-site healthcare opportunity offers the chance to support patients and families through labor, childbirth, and the immediate postpartum period in a close-knit community setting surrounded by the scenic landscapes and outdoor recreation of the Gila County region.
Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,700-$2,840
- Location: Globe, Arizona

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Arizona
- At least 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery or Obstetrics nursing experience
- Current nursing credentials and required clinical certifications for Labor and Delivery practice
- Flu vaccination is required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in call coverage
- Travel nurses must reside outside the 100-mile radius requirement for this assignment
- Availability for the full 13-week travel nursing assignment
Labor and Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
- Perform maternal and fetal assessments, monitor labor progression, and identify changes in patient condition
- Support vaginal and cesarean deliveries while collaborating with providers and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and follow established patient safety protocols
- Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies and support appropriate clinical interventions
- Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care
- Provide professional call coverage and promote continuity of care across the Labor and Delivery unit
