Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Ability to pass a Telemetry competency exam
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Must be able to float to like units and overflow areas
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to professional development
- Charge nurse experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients in a float pool environment
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, effective patient care
- Adapt quickly to varying patient needs across like units and overflow areas
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards throughout the assignment
- Complete required onboarding competencies and compliance testing within required timeframes
