- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Schedule: Day shifts with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM; no weekend requirement, with rotating night and weekend call as needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,840 – $3,050
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Patient Population: Adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an IR Tech or Interventional Radiology Technologist
- RCIS or ARRT certification required
- If ARRT (R), California Radiologic Technologist license required
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- ACLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy permit required
- Travel experience required
- Ability to maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered approach in a procedural environment
Responsibilities
- Support cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses during interventional radiology procedures
- Assist with the technical execution and analysis of procedures performed in the IR lab
- Monitor patients closely and communicate effectively throughout procedures
- Prepare equipment and maintain a sterile field to ensure safe, precise care
- Follow all local, state, and federal regulations, along with facility policies and procedures
- Promote patient comfort, confidence, and cooperation through professional interaction
- Assist with mentoring or training students when needed
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology support tasks, including vascular access, embolization, angiography, stenting, thrombolysis, and other specialized procedures
