• Setting: Hospital / Short-Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma
• Employment Type: Travel MRI Technologist
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,840 – $1,980
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Schedule: Day shifts with weekday and weekend coverage as needed
• Orientation: 40 hours
• On-Call: 1 night per week
• Charting System: Epic
• Equipment: Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and GE SIGNA HDE 1.5T
• Start Date: 10/5/2026

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT MRI certification required
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Siemens MRI experience required
• Compact or valid state license in hand at time of submission, as applicable
• Previous travel healthcare experience required
• Experience with hospital, trauma, and outpatient MRI procedures preferred
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams in accordance with department protocols and patient safety standards
• Operate advanced MRI equipment, including Siemens and GE imaging systems
• Use Epic accurately for documentation, scheduling, and workflow coordination
• Prepare patients for magnetic resonance imaging, including screening, contrast preparation, and IV support as needed
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, infection control, and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical care teams to support efficient patient flow and timely imaging services
• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend scheduling as needed
• Provide professional, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital environment
