CT Technologist Job Details
- Location: Haskell, Texas
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630-$1,750
- Assignment Type: Travel CT Technologist assignment
- Healthcare Setting: Hospital
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 18, 2027
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 8:00 PM-8:00 AM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Orientation: 16 hours
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with hospital or clinical experience preferred
- ARRT certification required
- CT certification required
- Active license in hand or compact eligibility, as applicable, at the time of submission
- Strong understanding of radiation safety practices, computed tomography procedures, and diagnostic imaging protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care during overnight hours
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and computed tomography examinations according to established imaging protocols
- Prepare patients for radiology procedures, explain examinations clearly, and address questions or concerns
- Apply radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and visitors
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses
- Review CT and X-ray images for quality and ensure all required views are obtained
- Maintain accurate patient records and diagnostic imaging documentation
- Operate, monitor, and help maintain radiologic and CT equipment in accordance with safety standards
- Provide reliable, attentive patient care throughout each night shift
