• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekends: As needed
• Holidays: As needed; travelers should expect holiday coverage based on assignment needs
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,000 – $1,080

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of EMS, emergency medical services, or related emergency care experience
• Current Pennsylvania EMT state license
• Active NREMT certification
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced EMS environment and follow the PA DOH EMS Act scope of practice
• Availability to work weekends as needed and limited requested time off (up to 7 days preferred)
• Comfortable providing care to a broad patient population, including pediatric, adult, trauma, and medical patients

Responsibilities

• Respond to EMS calls and provide care for patients experiencing urgent and emergent medical conditions or injuries
• Deliver safe, protocol-based pre-hospital treatment in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and scope of practice
• Perform essential field skills such as airway management, vital sign monitoring, bleeding control, splinting, IV support, and EKG interpretation as appropriate
• Support patient assessment, stabilization, and transport decisions in coordination with the emergency care team
• Administer emergency interventions, assist with resuscitation efforts, and manage a variety of trauma and medical presentations
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and communicate clearly with team members and receiving facilities
• Work professionally within a mobile emergency medical services setting while prioritizing patient safety and compassionate care
