Travel RN Job Details
- Location: Globe, Arizona
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250

- Shift: Nights, 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.; call may be offered during periods of low census
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Assignment End Date: January 4, 2027
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
- Schedule Notes: Up to three shifts may be canceled during the assignment; guaranteed hours may not apply to canceled shifts. Up to three requested days off may be submitted for the contract.
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Arizona
- At least 1 year of recent acute-care Registered Nurse experience
- Recent medical-surgical nursing and telemetry experience required
- Step-down nursing experience preferred but not required
- Flu vaccination required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Travel nurses must meet the applicable 100-mile residency requirement
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical, telemetry, observation, and step-down patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, laboratory results, and changes in patient condition
- Complete nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established standards and provider orders
- Manage patient assignments of approximately 1:6 in Med/Surg and Observation and 1:4 in Step-Down
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic medical records
- Use Alaris infusion pumps and Omnicell medication-dispensing systems safely and effectively
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support quality outcomes and safe transitions of care
- Participate in optional call coverage when available and appropriate during low-census periods
