Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680-$1,770

- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: November 3, 2026
- Assignment End Date: February 2, 2027
- Duration: 13-week travel nurse assignment
- Healthcare Setting: Fast-paced, 52-bed emergency department
Emergency Department RN Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN or Emergency Room Nurse experience
- Current Registered Nurse license applicable to Kansas
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and CPI Blue Card certifications
- Ability to work independently and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department
- Strong communication, teamwork, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills
- Meditech electronic medical record experience preferred
- ENPC certification and experience in larger emergency departments preferred
Travel Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to emergency department patients
- Assess patients, prioritize care, monitor changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Perform IV starts, administer medications, and provide ongoing patient monitoring
- Assist with procedural sedations and deliver emergency nursing care to pediatric patients
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, unit clerks, and fellow nurses
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in the Meditech electronic medical record
- Follow medication scanning and patient identification procedures consistently
- Adapt quickly to changing patient volumes while supporting a high-performing emergency care team
