Job Requirements
- Active Compact RN license or Alabama RN license
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience
- Cerner experience preferred
- Availability to work night shifts and every other weekend
- Travelers must meet submission requirements and live more than 50 miles from the facility
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced med-surg environment
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate concerns promptly
- Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility standards and protocols
- Manage an average patient ratio of 6:1 while delivering high-quality care
