Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
- Current BLS certification
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Ability to follow patient safety, infection control, and documentation standards
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital, acute care, or patient care environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide routine patient care and support under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Assist with bedside care, patient comfort, mobility support, and daily care tasks
- Support accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Help maintain a safe healthcare environment by following patient and employee safety practices
- Assist with menu management, diet-related updates, and patient meal selections as needed
- Prepare, deliver, and retrieve patient menus and related materials in accordance with prescribed diets
- Communicate patient care and food service concerns appropriately with the care team
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as faxing, filing, answering phones, and photocopying
- Assist with trayline, food service, or catering support when needed
- Follow HIPAA and Joint Commission guidelines at all times
