• Shift: Night shift, 5×8 hours (23:00 – 07:30)
• Shift Duration: 8 hour nights
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,080 – $1,160
• Orientation: 40 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of sterile processing experience required
• CBSPD or HSPA/IAHCSMM certification required
• Experience with Medivator required
• Experience in a Level II trauma setting required; Level I trauma experience preferred
• Strong background in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and sterile storage
• Experience with scope reprocessing, high-level disinfection, and instrument tray preparation
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment, including drills, scopes, and robotics components
• Assemble, inspect, and prepare instrument trays across multiple surgical service lines
• Perform sterilization using steam and Sterrad processes
• Support high-level disinfection and endoscope reprocessing workflows
• Maintain sterile storage and ensure instruments are packaged and delivered safely to point of use
• Collaborate with operating room teams and sterile processing leadership to track and allocate instrumentation
• Use tracking systems to document equipment movement and support tray standardization
• Follow strict infection prevention practices and uphold quality standards at all times
