Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Job in Camden, NJ
Experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a 13-week contract in Camden, New Jersey, near Philadelphia.
This hospital-based acute care nursing job is ideal for a skilled RN who thrives in a fast-paced telemetry and Level 1 Trauma environment and is comfortable floating to like units as needed.
Located in Camden, this on-site assignment offers convenient access to the greater Philadelphia metro area, along with nearby waterfront attractions, dining, and cultural destinations that make the area an appealing place to work and explore.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250

- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Requirements
- 3+ years of recent Telemetry RN experience required
- Recent experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma facility required
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Ability to float to all like units as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient monitoring skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective, patient-centered care
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education
- Float to like units based on patient care needs and staffing priorities
- Maintain compliance with hospital standards, safety practices, and quality initiatives
