CVOR Registered Nurse Travel Assignment in Tyler, Texas
Bring your CVOR RN expertise to a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room in Tyler, TX. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to support complex cardiac and thoracic surgery cases while working alongside a skilled perioperative team in East Texas.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890
- Start Date: 10/20/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Hours per Week: 36
- Charting System: Epic
- Location: Tyler, TX 75701
Job Requirements
- 2 years of CVOR nursing experience required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Active state or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Experience with cardiovascular surgery and thoracic surgical procedures preferred
- First-time travelers may be considered
Responsibilities
- Serve as a circulating Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
- Support complex cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery procedures, including CABG, TAVR, valve replacement, thoracotomy, VATS, and ventricular assist device cases
- Maintain sterile technique and follow universal protocol throughout the perioperative workflow
- Assist with blood and blood product administration, specimen handling, and perioperative documentation
- Prepare and support equipment and surgical supplies needed for advanced cardiovascular procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to promote safe, efficient patient care
