- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Shift Duration: 8-hour evenings
- Schedule: Evenings, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, every other weekend and holiday
- Guaranteed Hours: 40
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
Job Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience preferred; long-term care or geriatric nursing experience a plus
- BLS/CPR and AED certification required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care to residents with varying needs in a long-term care setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet the physical demands of the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established standards, policies, and individualized care plans
- Supervise and support nursing assistants in daily resident care activities
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor resident conditions, record vital signs, and report changes promptly
- Complete accurate charting, documentation, and required administrative tasks
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and resident orientation
- Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members to support resident needs
- Support quality assurance efforts and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered care environment
