Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry

- Location: Canton, Ohio 44708
- Start Date: 10/23/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Schedule Note: Traveler must work at least every other holiday
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
- Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Current BLS and ACLS certification in hand at time of submission
- NIHSS certification required prior to start
- Epic experience required
- One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate must be passed during orientation
- Traveler must be comfortable completing compliance requirements, including background review and fingerprinting timelines
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to the plan of care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic
- Participate in orientation, competency requirements, and unit-based learning
- Maintain professional communication and follow all unit and compliance expectations
