Travel Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – Canton, Ohio
Travel Labor & Delivery RN jobs in Canton, OH are available for an experienced Registered Nurse seeking a 13-week maternity care assignment. Job Details

- Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
- Shift Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
- Start Date: October 23, 2026
- Location: Canton, OH 44708
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Charting Experience: EPIC Stork preferred
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of combined Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Experience with labor, induction, circulating in the OB-OR, and antepartum assignments
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications in hand at time of submission
- One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
- Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate during orientation with an acceptable score
- Willingness to complete required pre-start compliance steps and annual competency requirements, if applicable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based maternity care setting
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to laboring, induction, and antepartum patients
- Support circulating responsibilities in the OB-OR as needed
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
- Deliver high-quality nursing care while maintaining a calm, supportive presence for patients and families
- Participate in orientation, assessments, and ongoing unit-based requirements
