Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in East Stroudsburg, PA
Join a dynamic hospital-based Interventional Radiology team in East Stroudsburg, PA, in the scenic Pocono Mountains region. This travel Radiologic Technologist opportunity is ideal for an experienced IR Tech seeking a fast-paced environment, strong interdisciplinary support, and high-quality patient care in a Level III trauma center.

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shift
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
- Call Requirement: Rotational on-call coverage required, including weekdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends/holidays for 24-hour coverage
- Orientation: 8 hours
- Charting System: Epic
- Work Environment: Level III trauma center with a strong interdisciplinary support team
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, or a related radiology technologist role
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ARRT(R) certification required
- ARRT(VI) certification preferred
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience with sterile technique and maintaining a sterile field
- Strong proficiency in Epic charting preferred
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and holiday/weekend coverage
- Experience with vascular and special procedure cases strongly preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology and special procedures in a hospital setting
- Assist with patient prep, access site management, and sterile field maintenance
- Support physicians during vascular, genitourinary, and other image-guided procedures
- Operate imaging and procedural equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic electronic medical record system
- Provide attentive monitoring and support throughout procedures
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
