Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 – $2,060
- Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab / Cath Lab
- Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84124
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call: Approximately 10 call days per month, including at least 1 weekend per month
- Equipment/Systems: GE equipment; EPIC and Merge EMR
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs provided
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a cath lab, cardiovascular lab, or related procedural setting
- Must hold one of the following credentials: RCIS, RT, CVT, or RN with cath lab scrubbing experience
- Strong experience with diagnostic and interventional scrubbing alongside a cardiologist
- Experience supporting IABP and Impella procedures required
- Preferred experience with Rota, TAVR, Watchman, and MitraClip procedures
- Flexible, team-oriented, and hard-working approach to patient care
- Experience in travel healthcare, contract healthcare jobs, or acute care procedural environments is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic angiograms, PCIs, STEMIs, and structural heart procedures
- Provide skilled scrubbing support during interventional and diagnostic cardiovascular cases
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
- Monitor workflow in a busy cath lab handling approximately 5 to 15 cases per day
- Support on-call coverage and respond to emergent cardiac cases as needed
- Maintain a professional, adaptable presence in a high-acuity procedural environment
- Deliver excellent patient care while supporting a high-performing cardiac catheterization team
