Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting
- At least 2 completed travel assignments
- Current BLS certification
- Recent experience with Cerner charting
- Experience caring for Med/Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
- Ability to adapt to a busy unit and float between Med/Surg and Telemetry as needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Coordinate and direct nursing care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
- Monitor Med/Surg and telemetry patients closely and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications safely, including bedside scanning procedures
- Support positive patient outcomes through accurate documentation and timely communication
- Maintain flexibility to float between Med/Surg and Telemetry units based on unit needs
