- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620 – $1,700
- Schedule Notes: Weekends and on-call may be available upon approval
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Experience with high-risk obstetric patients strongly preferred
- Immediate newborn care experience required
- Circulating experience preferred for obstetric procedures
- Current BLS certification
- Advanced Life Support certification
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity, patient-centered healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to laboring patients and newborns
- Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&Cs, cerclage procedures, and C-hyst cases as needed
- Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Assist with immediate newborn care and transition after delivery
- Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
- Float as needed to related maternal and neonatal areas based on unit needs
