- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 – $2,370
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience
- Experience caring for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, solid tumors, and cellular therapies
- Experience with telemetry, PCA pumps, blood warmers, bladder scans, and Baxter pumps
- Experience supporting cellular product administration and clinical trials preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt in a high-acuity oncology setting
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to oncology patients with complex needs
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition with clinical judgment and professionalism
- Administer treatments and therapies related to oncology, hematology, BMT, and cellular products
- Support safe use of specialized equipment and technology on the unit
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards for quality and patient safety
- May float to other oncology units as needed
