Travel Registered Nurse – Acute Care / CVICU – Lake Havasu City, AZ
Acute care Travel Registered Nurse opportunity in Lake Havasu City, Arizona for an experienced RN with strong adult and geriatric critical care skills. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200
- Call Requirement: Yes
- Float Requirement: Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as needed
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care or critical care nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
- Experience caring for complex adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity environment
- Comfortable with float assignments and call expectations
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care in a blended ICU / CVICU setting
- Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, stroke, trauma, and acute respiratory failure
- Support care for patients receiving CRRT, TCAR, TVAR, and other advanced critical care treatments
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and operate acute care equipment, including Baxter pumps
- Document nursing care accurately in the EHR and maintain clear clinical communication
- Adapt quickly to float needs in Intermediate Care and ED holding as assigned
