We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide hands-on patient care in a rehabilitation and long-term care environment. Job Details
- Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care / Rehab
- Location: Clive, Iowa (Des Moines area)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
Job Requirements
- Active LPN/LVN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Experience in rehab, long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar patient care setting
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work overnight shifts and provide consistent, dependable care
- Comfort supporting patients with complex recovery and rehabilitation needs
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation and long-term care environment
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans
- Assist with mobility, safety, hygiene, and daily living needs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support recovery goals
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
- Deliver compassionate clinical support that helps patients progress through rehabilitation
