Job Requirements
- 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification required
- Labor & Delivery experience preferred, including high-risk OB experience
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process
- Support safe deliveries by responding quickly to changing clinical needs in a fast-paced L&D unit
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, obstetric staff, and the care team to promote positive patient outcomes
- Deliver patient education and emotional support to families during labor, birth, and recovery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols, safety standards, and best practices
- Contribute to a team-focused environment with attention to detail and clinical excellence
