- Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,030 – $3,190
- Setting: On-site inpatient Labor & Delivery nursing care
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field
- Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Preferred: High-risk obstetrics or high-risk OB experience
- Preferred: 1 year of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients throughout the birthing process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Support high-risk pregnancies and labor situations with strong clinical judgment and confidence
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote safe outcomes
- Assist with patient education, emotional support, and family-centered care during labor and delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols, safety practices, and standards of care
- Deliver compassionate care during 12-hour night shifts in a dynamic inpatient nursing environment
