Job Details

- Assignment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing Job

- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week with rotating weekends
- Call Requirement: 6-8 call shifts per month, including weeknight and weekend call
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room Circulator experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Robotics experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to support on-call coverage and rotating weekend scheduling
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the operating room
- Circulate and assist during surgical procedures as part of the perioperative team
- Anticipate surgical needs and support case preparation and timeliness
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to promote efficient patient care
- Maintain communication with families and update preference cards as needed
- Support the scrubbing and assisting of physicians during surgical cases when appropriate
- Uphold state nurse practice standards, AORN guidelines, and facility policies
