We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Tucson, AZ. Job Details
- Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: Tucson, AZ 85741
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour evenings
- Schedule: Evenings, 5x8s (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 – $1,840
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room / OR nursing experience required
- Circulating experience required
- Experience with robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology preferred
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work evening shifts and contribute to call coverage as needed
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a surgical setting
- Experience in perioperative nursing, surgical nursing, or clinical support roles is highly valued
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care in the operating room
- Circulate for surgical procedures and support the OR team throughout each case
- Assist with a variety of surgical services, including robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology
- Maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient workflow in the surgical suite
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members
- Participate in call coverage as assigned and respond promptly when needed
- Document care accurately using the facility EMR
