• Setting: Hospital-based therapy department / acute care
• Location: Margate, FL 33063
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,580 – $1,700

Job Requirements

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of physical therapy experience, preferably in a hospital, inpatient, or acute care setting
• Previous travel PT experience preferred
• Ability to learn new systems quickly, including Meditech
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions including gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities
• Work with patients using assistive equipment such as walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs
• Manage a caseload in a hospital environment while maintaining quality patient care
• Document care accurately in the Meditech system
• Collaborate with a cohesive, highly engaged therapy team to support excellent patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to unit workflows and provide dependable support to the department
