Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- NRP required; may be completed prior to start if not held at submission
- Experience caring for a combined Medical Surgical and Postpartum patient population
- Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg and Postpartum patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately and in a timely manner
- Support patient education and discharge readiness
- Maintain professionalism while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment
