Travel Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology Job in Richmond, VA
Experienced Radiologic Technologist needed for a 13-week Interventional Radiology travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia. Job Details
- Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology
- Location: Richmond, VA 23225
- Assignment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
- Call Requirements: 1-2 nights of call per week; 1 weekend of call every 4-5 weekends
- Floating: Possible support in CT, MRI, or Radiology as needed
- EMR: Meditech
- Scrubs: Provided
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in radiology, interventional radiology, procedural, or critical care settings
- Experience with moderate sedation in a procedural or hospital setting
- Strong procedural area experience required
- BLS and ACLS required
- PALS preferred
- Meditech experience preferred
- Outgoing, team-oriented, self-starter with a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Support Interventional Radiology procedures in a hospital-based procedural environment
- Assist with biopsies, drain insertions, angiograms, and peripheral vascular procedures
- Help with paracenteses, thoracenteses, line placement, and other imaging-related needs
- Provide assistance with CT coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelogram workflows when needed
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care while collaborating closely with technologists, nurses, and schedulers
- Maintain readiness for call coverage and contribute to smooth patient flow throughout the unit
