Cath Lab Tech Travel Job in Sioux Falls, South Dakota – Cardiac Catheterization Lab

- End Date: 12/08/2026
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,830 – $3,040
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
- Shift Schedule: Varying day shifts, including 0530-1600, 0630-1700, and 0730-1800
- Call Requirements: On call every other weekend if needed, with a 30-minute response time; approximately 1 call shift per week
- Orientation: 8 hours
Cath Lab Tech Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
- BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS certification from AHA required
- RCIS or RCES preferred
- Experience with scrub, circulate, and monitoring responsibilities in cardiac catheterization procedures
- Comfort working in a high-volume, team-oriented cardiovascular care environment
- Ability to respond to call requirements and support occasional vacant call coverage
Responsibilities
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral vascular and cardiac cases
- Assist with right and left heart catheterizations
- Support device cases and collaborate in electrophysiology (EP) procedures when needed
- Work with advanced cath lab systems and technology, including charting and fluoroscopy equipment
- Maintain strong communication and teamwork in a busy cardiac catheterization lab setting
- Follow all procedural, infection control, and patient safety standards while delivering high-quality patient care
- Complete orientation focused on monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating effectively
