• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,240 – $1,330
• EMR: Meditech
• Work Environment: Large, collaborative acute care team with a wide variety of diagnoses

Job Requirements

• Active Kansas COTA licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum 6 months of acute care hospital occupational therapy experience
• Trauma experience preferred
• Comprehensive stroke experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with high accountability
• Strong communication, collaboration, and flexibility in a dynamic acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments to hospitalized patients in an acute care environment
• Support daily patient care needs across a high-volume consult service
• Collaborate closely with OTRs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Assist with care planning and carry out treatment plans to support patient recovery and function
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate patient progress effectively
• Maintain a flexible approach to meet the needs of a busy, diverse patient population
