Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Live Oak, TX 78233
Join a dynamic Emergency Department team in the Live Oak / San Antonio healthcare market. This 13-week travel RN assignment offers an experienced emergency nurse the opportunity to provide fast-paced, high-impact patient care in a well-established hospital serving a growing South Texas community.
Job Details
- Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Employment Type: Travel RN
- Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
- Location: Live Oak, TX 78233
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460-$1,540
- Start Date: 08/18/2026
- End Date: 11/17/2026
Job Requirements
- Active Texas RN license required; temporary license will not be accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS or ENPC certification
- Current TNCC certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Meditech experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Support patient assessment, stabilization, triage, and ongoing monitoring
- Assist with critical interventions including conscious sedation, intubations, sepsis care, stroke response, and chest pain evaluations
- Provide behavioral health watch and support for diverse patient needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Float as needed in accordance with unit guidelines
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team to promote safe, efficient patient care
