Compassionate Registered Nurse needed for a Travel Med-Surg RN assignment in Chattanooga, TN. Join a supportive orthopedic and spine unit in a fast-paced acute care setting and build your clinical experience in one of Tennessee’s most scenic and welcoming cities.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 – $1,730

- Schedule Notes: 4 weekend shifts per schedule; rotation floating policy
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Unit Highlights: 26-bed ortho/spine unit with supportive staffing resources
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg or orthopedic nursing experience preferred
- Strong orthopedic background, ideally in acute care or post-op recovery
- Excellent compassion, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in weekend scheduling
- Comfortable in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to post-op orthopedic and spine patients
- Monitor patient conditions, complete assessments, and report changes promptly
- Support recovery for knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to promote safe patient outcomes
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the Meditech electronic health record system
- Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach throughout each shift
- Follow unit guidelines while contributing to a positive team atmosphere
