Travel Nurse Job Details

- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Shift Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, every other weekend
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Charting System: MEDITECH
- Care Setting: Acute care hospital
Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required, including 1 travel assignment
- BLS certification from AHA required
- NIHSS certification from AHA required
- MEDITECH experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize patient care, and float as needed
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical and acute care patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe outcomes
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately in the electronic health record
- Support patient flow and assist with unit needs across designated acute care areas
- Maintain a professional, team-focused approach throughout each shift
