Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
- Current RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with ICU-level procedures such as CRRT, intubations, and line placements preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet scheduling requirements
- Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced critical care environment with floating as needed
- Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to ICU patients with complex medical needs
- Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Assist with critical care procedures and collaborate with physicians and the care team
- Document patient care accurately in the Meditech EMR system
- Maintain safe, efficient patient ratios and uphold unit standards
- Support a culture of excellence, teamwork, and positive patient experience
- Adapt to unit needs while contributing to a newly refreshed, well-equipped ICU environment
