- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,310 – $2,480
- Weekend Coverage: Rotating weekends, approximately 1 weekend per month
Physical Therapist Job Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license or eligibility to practice in Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience preferred in an acute care or hospital setting
- Ability to evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience educating patients and families on therapy goals and discharge planning
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and determine appropriate treatment needs
- Plan and implement individualized physical therapy programs
- Deliver therapy services and document patient progress accurately
- Educate patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams as needed
- Support discharge planning and transitions of care
- Collaborate with the acute care team to promote safe, effective recovery
- Rotate weekend coverage as scheduled
