Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment in Corpus Christi, TX

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Experience with transfer training and EMR documentation
- Rehab nursing, rehabilitation nursing, or acute care experience preferred
- Knowledge of rehab scoring documentation is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills and a proactive, initiative-driven mindset
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Assist with patient transfers, mobility support, and safe use of transfer equipment as needed
- Perform bladder scans, dressing changes, and medication administration
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR
- Support safe handoff communication and bedside reporting
- Maintain hourly rounding and ensure bed alarm activation per unit guidelines
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote patient progress and recovery goals
- Float as needed to related med-surg, telemetry, renal, urology, orthopedic, and overflow units excluding ICU
