• Position Type: Locum tenens Anesthesiologist
• Location: Webster, Texas (Greater Houston area)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,760 – $3,220
• Start Date: November 1, 2026
• Duration: 24 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with weekend call coverage as needed
• Practice Setting: Large tertiary surgical program with obstetric coverage and dedicated cardiovascular call support

Job Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible Anesthesiologist
• At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience preferred; motivated new graduates may be considered
• Comfortable working in a physician-led care-team model with CRNAs
• Ability to support a flexible schedule across multiple facilities as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, patient safety focus, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology coverage for a busy surgical services program in the Houston metro area
• Supervise 1 to 3 ORs under a collaborative care-team model
• Support a mix of scheduled daytime shifts, restricted call, and unrestricted call coverage
• Provide obstetric anesthesia coverage and support overnight call when assigned
• Collaborate with CRNAs, surgeons, and perioperative teams to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Contribute to a safe, patient-centered environment across a broad range of cases
