MRI Technologist Job Details
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts
- Assignment Type: Hospital travel contract
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 8, 2026
- End Date: February 6, 2027
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600-$2,790
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Schedule: Variable daytime and evening shifts, including schedules beginning at 11:00 AM or 3:00 PM and ending at 11:30 PM

MRI Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist or MRI Tech
- Current MRI Technologist certification or applicable professional credential
- Valid Massachusetts license or certificate verification, as applicable
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety practices, patient screening, and magnetic resonance imaging protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hospital environment and adapt to variable shifts
- Current resume, professional references, and completion of required skills documentation
MRI Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and departmental standards
- Explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures to patients, promote comfort, and provide clear preparation instructions
- Complete thorough MRI safety screening and follow all applicable safety procedures
- Position patients appropriately and operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Review images for technical quality and repeat or adjust sequences when necessary
- Accurately document procedures and communicate effectively with radiologists and the healthcare team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital imaging environment
