Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850-$1,990
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel healthcare contract
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Location: Greer, South Carolina
• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care hospital imaging department with emergency, outpatient, and certified stroke-care services
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts; Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call: Not required
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients; approximately 40-50 daily patients

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of CT Technologist or Computed Tomography Technologist experience preferred; candidates with at least 1 year may be considered based on qualifications
• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT CT)
• Current BLS certification
• Required South Carolina radiologic technology credential, including SCQSA as applicable
• GE CT equipment experience required
• Recent EPIC experience preferred but not required
• An active South Carolina state license is preferred; candidates with a pending license may be considered and must obtain the license before the assignment begins
• Travel candidates must reside outside the applicable 75-mile local radius
• All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application
• Successful completion of required orientation testing, including cardiac dysrhythmia testing
• Required compliance documentation must be completed at least 5 business days before the scheduled start date

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations for emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and stroke-care patients
• Prepare patients for imaging, verify orders, obtain relevant clinical information, and promote patient comfort and safety
• Operate GE CT equipment and apply appropriate imaging protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic studies
• Follow radiation-safety, infection-control, and department standards throughout each examination
• Provide attentive care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute-care hospital environment
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record and communicate relevant findings or concerns to the clinical team
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other imaging professionals to support timely patient care
