Endoscopy Technician Job Details

- End Date: January 7, 2027
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, Monday through Friday
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, with 32 guaranteed hours
- Call: Required as needed

Endoscopy Technician Job Requirements
- Endoscopy experience as an Endoscopy Technician, Endoscopy Tech, or GI Technician
- Recent experience supporting gastrointestinal procedures in a hospital endoscopy department
- Knowledge of endoscopy equipment, procedure-room workflow, and infection prevention practices
- ERCP experience is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the procedural team
- Ability to participate in an as-needed call rotation
Endoscopy Technician Responsibilities
- Prepare endoscopy procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled cases
- Assist the procedural team during endoscopic and gastrointestinal procedures
- Support ERCP procedures when assigned and qualified
- Clean, disinfect, process, and maintain endoscopy equipment according to established standards
- Verify equipment functionality and help ensure supplies are available for each procedure
- Maintain accurate documentation and support safe, efficient patient flow
- Follow hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and patient safety procedures
- Provide call coverage as needed
