• Shift: Monday through Friday, day shift
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Schedule Highlights: No on-call, no weekends, and no overtime

Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Ohio
• BLS and CPR certification required
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
• At least 1 year of acute care experience preferred
• Strong candidates with less experience may also be considered
• Ability to work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Comfortable using standard computer systems for documentation and communication
• Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing patient assessments in an acute care hospital setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Provide daily skilled physical therapy interventions to support patient recovery
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures, mobility strategies, and home exercise programs
• Document treatment progress accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Collaborate with PT assistants and supervise treatment interventions as needed
• Support rehabilitation for orthopedic, postoperative, cardiac, step-down, and mild neurological patients
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and efficient care environment
