Join a dedicated adult medical-surgical nursing team as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in Lawton, Oklahoma. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population in a 24-bed unit while working a consistent 12-hour day schedule. Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure eligible for practice in Oklahoma
- At least 6 months of recent adult medical-surgical nursing experience
- Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, and nursing care-planning skills
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced hospital setting
Med/Surg Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized nursing diagnoses and plans of care
- Implement, evaluate, and document comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and communicate concerns promptly
- Provide medication administration, treatments, patient education, and ongoing clinical support
- Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary services, and other members of the patient-care team
- Promote professional nursing standards and contribute to a safe, collaborative clinical environment
