Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Nursing Contract in Marion, North Carolina
Join a collaborative emergency department as a Travel Registered Nurse in Marion, NC. This 13-week ER nursing assignment offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care for patients with urgent and emergent conditions alongside an experienced healthcare team.
Travel Registered Nurse Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640-$1,730
- Location: Marion, North Carolina
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing assignment
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- End Date: January 4, 2027
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
- Work Setting: On-site Emergency Department
- Openings: 1
Emergency Department Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in North Carolina
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department, emergency room, or acute care setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and fulfill the 36-hour weekly schedule
- Strong patient assessment, triage, prioritization, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to meet applicable facility credentialing and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
Emergency Room RN Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and promptly escalate changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate timely emergency care
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Support safe patient transfers, admissions, discharges, and emergency interventions
