CT Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Type: 13-week CT Technologist travel contract
• Location: Easley, South Carolina
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• End Date: January 25, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,050
• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Shifts per Week: 2; Saturday and Sunday nights
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Call: Not required
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital radiology serving emergency department and inpatient populations
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Charting System: Epic Radiant
• Additional Scheduling: May float to X-ray as needed

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist or Computed Tomography Technologist
• ARRT(R) certification
• ARRT(CT) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active South Carolina radiologic technologist license
• At least 1 year of recent Epic experience, preferably Epic Radiant
• Demonstrated competency with adult acute care, emergency, inpatient, trauma, and outpatient CT imaging
• Experience with contrast preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, radiation safety, and isolation precautions
• Ability to float to X-ray and other qualified imaging areas when needed

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations for emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient patients
• Complete studies including head, brain perfusion, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, musculoskeletal, vascular, and trauma imaging as qualified
• Prepare patients for examinations, administer contrast media according to protocol, and monitor for reactions
• Start peripheral IVs and maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards
• Float to X-ray as needed to support department coverage
• Assist with patient transport to and from the emergency department and inpatient units
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in Epic Radiant
• Communicate effectively with off-site radiologists and the care team regarding imaging needs and urgent findings
• Support timely imaging services for stroke and other high-acuity patients
• Collaborate with the radiology team to provide safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care
