Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Contract in Muskegon, Michigan
Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a 13-week night-shift contract in Muskegon, Michigan. Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,100
- Location: Muskegon, Michigan
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- End Date: January 17, 2027
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3:00 PM-3:30 AM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Emergency Department RN Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for license verification
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department
- Emergency Room (ER) or acute care nursing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including alternating weekends and holidays
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills
- Completion of required clinical competency and onboarding documentation
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and provide nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
- Monitor patient status and promptly recognize changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate timely patient care
- Perform and document focused assessments, interventions, reassessments, and patient responses
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate documentation while supporting patient safety and emergency department flow
